The most boring subject of all time
A few quick words on possibly the most boring subject of all time: central heating! We’d all rather it just sat there doing it’s job with no problems of course, but occasionally things go wrong, and it’s best to be prepared. Assuming you don’t want a huge surprise bill at some point, what are the options?
Well, central heating breakdown cover is the obvious answer. Central heating cover can be had from as little as a tenner a month, and when you consider the average boiler service can run to eighty quid plus it’s something of a no-brainer to pay the extra for peace of mind and no chance of a steep bill if things go pete tong.
Most of the major suppliers are much of a muchness, so we’ll leave you to do your own research and find the best deal for you. But one word of warning: ALWAYS make sure you use a CORGI registered plumber, and if they can’t show you their credentials or make any excuses show ‘em the door!
Using a non-CORGI registered plumber could mean big problems: no comeback if things go wrong, for one thing. But the most important aspect is safety…with no CORGI card yo have no gaurentee your plumber is qualified to work safely on your system (in fact they almost certainly aren’t).
