Installing kitchen sinks
As you can see installing sinks isn’t all that hard once you know what to do. Of course, the first step can be bypassed if you are replacing a sink since the hole will already be cut. In this case you will need to measure the hole and buy a sink according to the size of the previous hole. Taking measurements is always the most crucial step to installing a sink. Installing a vessel sink is a whole new process. The first step is securing the vanity table to the floor and wall. Using a template you will need to mark screw and drains holes on the vanity table as well as for the faucet and its handles. Once done complete all cuts using a jigsaw.
Once done drill holes for each screw and then use your caulking gun to apply caulk around the edges of all holes. After you have applied a decent amount of caulk you should attach the mounting ring. Once you have the ring attached move your vessel sink in place and hand tighten all wing nuts. You will need to wipe off any excess caulk. Now all that is left to do is install the sink’s faucets, insert the drain pipe, add the tapered gasket, the flat washed, the lock nut and the tubes to their appropriate shutoff valves. Finish the sink’s drain with the P-trap. After checking all connections cross you fingers and turn on the water. Now you know how to install vessel skins!
